Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking a highly experienced and safety-oriented Lead Captain for its G550 operations based out of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (KAUS). The Lead Captain serves as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of the Gulfstream G550, operating domestic and international flights in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, and aircraft limitations. Responsibilities include pre-flight planning, monitoring aircraft systems, communicating with ATC, completing flight documentation, mentoring First Officers, participating in CRM training, adhering to safety policies, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements & Qualifications: - FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate - Type Rating: Gulfstream G-V (must hold) - Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate - FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit - Minimum 4,000 hours total flight time - Minimum 2,000 hours PIC turbine time - Minimum 1,000 hours PIC in multi-engine jet aircraft - Minimum 500 hours PIC in Gulfstream G550 aircraft - International experience preferred - Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship - Residency within a three-hour drivable commuting distance of KAUS or willingness to relocate - Must pass pre-employment drug screen, FAA background check, and criminal history record check

Compensation and Benefits
$325,000 – $365,000 per year (USD)
