Job description

PHI Health is seeking skilled and dedicated VFR pilots (STAR VFR Pilot) to join their air ambulance team. Pilots will be at the forefront of life-saving missions, delivering critical care with speed, precision, and commitment operating under CAMTS guidelines. Aircraft: AS350B3e VFR/NVG (Instrument rating required) Operations: 24-hour operations (day/night rotation) Schedule: 14&14 with paid bookend travel days Location: Varies - Travel required If successful applicant requires aircraft transition, a 1-year minimum service requirement per CBA applies. Duties include: line pilot duties IAW GOM, participation in community outreach programs, supporting Safety Management System and Destination Zero, assisting in loading/unloading of patients and equipment. Requirements: - Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings - First Class Medical - CAMTS Requirements: - 2,000 Total Hours - 1,500 Hours Helicopter - 1,000 Hours PIC Helicopters - 500 Hours Turbine Helicopters - 100 Hours in Unaided Night Operations OR 50 Hours Unaided and 100 Hours NVG - Must meet company flight personnel weight restriction policy (235 lbs or less) - Strong communication and customer service skills - Must pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam (lift 100 lbs), drug screening, and background check - Interview and acceptance by customer/PHI management Compensation: Competitive pay, shift bonuses, shift incentives, Annual Safety Bonus, Annual Employee Bonus, Sign-On Bonus up to $100,000, paid travel time and travel expenses.
