Job description

The Caravan Seaplane Captain (PIC) plays a vital role in supporting company operations by transporting maintenance parts, supplies, and technicians to various worksites. This position is responsible for executing all assigned flight duties while ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company aircraft. The PIC must adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company procedures, prioritizing safety, precision, and operational excellence in every mission. Key Responsibilities: - Safe and efficient flight operations for all trip assignments while maintaining a high level of customer service. - Maintain professionalism and ability to coordinate and lead deliveries. - Greeting of passengers, assistance with passenger seating, and luggage and freight storage. - Review all customer service items including parts pick up/drop off, refueling, customs, and vendor communications. - Conduct passenger briefings when required. - Adhere to all company procedures manuals. - Maintain a current first-class medical certificate. - Must meet duty time limitations, rest requirements, and possess all required certificates, licenses, and permits. - Assume primary responsibility for the safety of passengers and cargo. - Comply with all Federal Aviation Regulations, Company Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, SOPs, and Company Policies. - Update flight and duty records and report aircraft maintenance discrepancies. - Participate proactively in safety and quality systems. Required Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship. - FAA First Class Medical. - Commercial Single Engine Land with Instrument Rating. - IFR Proficiency and Currency. - 1,200 total flight hours, including: - 500 hours PIC - 500 hours cross-country - 100 hours night - 75 hours instrument (50 hours in actual flight) - 100 hours Seaplane - Must reside within one hour from home base (Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport, TMB, Miami-Dade County, Florida). - Must be able to complete training program demonstrating proficiency with job requirements. - Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment. - Subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.

• Must reside within one hour from home base Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport (TMB), Miami-Dade County, Florida
• IFR proficiency and currency required
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment, including previous employment, education and criminal history
• Subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing as an FAA safety-sensitive role

Compensation and Benefits

$110,000 per year (USD)

• Annual salary: $110,000
• Per diem: $66/day (domestic), $85/day (international) when overnight away from base
