Job description

Position: Fixed Wing Pilot (Pilot in Command) Location: San Antonio, TX Airframe: King Air 200 (BE-200 / C-90) Schedule: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off, 12-hour shifts The Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for the safe conduct of flights in accordance with FAR Part 135. The PIC is the final authority in aircraft operation and exercises Operational Control at the Tier 2 level per the General Operations Manual. Minimum Required Qualifications: - Must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, San Antonio, Texas - Must hold, or be able to attain, BE-200PL21 and C-90 PIC Qualification - Ideal candidate will have single pilot IFR experience - Previous medevac and/or cargo experience preferred - Valid and unexpired driver's license - Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate - Hold, or be eligible to hold, an unrestricted FAA ATP certificate - 2,500 Airplane Total Time Hours - 500 Airplane Multi-Engine Land Hours - 1,000 PIC Airplane Hours - 100 Hours in Type - 75 instrument hours (50 actual) - Must hold valid US Passport Responsibilities: - Comply with duties in AirMed International general operating manual - Ensure aircraft is ready for mission in coordination with AirMed's global operations center - Comply with all applicable FARs and OpSpecs - Disseminate flight operations information through operational control structure - Conduct professionally at all times - Attend meetings, training, and check-flights as required - Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Operations or Chief Pilot Education: Minimum High School Diploma, GED, or higher

Compensation and Benefits

$111,589 – $122,748 per year (USD)

Training provided
  • Annual salary range: $111,589 - $122,748 with merit-based increases up to $156,224
  • $15,000 sign-on bonus (must complete training and check ride)
  • $40,000 retention bonus (6-month waiting period, 3-year program)
  • Up to $5,000 in relocation assistance
  • 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
