Additional requirements

  • 500-949 FAR Part 121.436(a) upgrade qualifying flight hours.
  • Appropriate FAA pilot certificates for obtaining upgrade qualifying flight hours (no specific certificate named in the posting).
  • Meet all FAA requirements to carry passengers for 2 years from your date of hire.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Valid United States passport or a valid passport with authorization to work in (and re-enter) the United States. FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Preferred: Type Rating in a Part 25 Aircraft; current employment in a pilot position.
  • Fleet: Embraer 145 regional jets (no type rating required to apply).
  • Crew bases: Philadelphia, PA; Charlotte, NC; Harrisburg, PA.
  • Captain upgrade after 2,500 total hours and 1,000 Part 121.436 qualifying time. Pilots with 750 hours of qualifying FAR 121.436 flight time will be paid as a Captain (subject to verification).
