Kenn Borek Air (KBA) is a renowned Canadian aviation company with over 50 years of experience operating in the world's most remote and challenging environments. Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, specializing in charter operations, cargo, medevac, aerial surveys, and polar support using a fleet of de Havilland Canada DHC-6, Basler Turbo converted DC3T, and Beechcraft aircraft. We are currently seeking experienced Captains for our DHC-6 Twin Otter fleet. No relocation is required. Kenn Borek Air provides all travel and accommodations. Schedule: Seasonal rotational schedule — 3 weeks in / 3 weeks out during Canadian spring and summer operations; opportunities for extended 2–4 month deployments to Antarctica during the southern summer season. Qualifications: - Valid Canadian ATPL (Aeroplane) - Minimum 2,000 hours total time (2,500 hours preferred) - Able to obtain a valid Transport Canada medical and security clearance - Legally entitled to work in Canada - Valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining - Arctic, ski-equipped, off-strip, or remote/unimproved airfield experience is a strong asset - A PPC on the DHC-6 is not required — training will be provided for qualified candidates.
