Job description
Lead Captain - Gulfstream 550 & Gulfstream 450 based in Burbank, CA. The Lead Captain serves as the Pilot in Command (PIC) for assigned flights, ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, and quality. Responsibilities include leading safe and efficient operation of all assigned flights, pre-flight and post-flight inspections, filing flight plans, analyzing weather and route conditions, mentoring and guiding crew members, conducting performance reviews, coordinating schedules and training, managing trip documentation, maintaining aircraft manuals, assisting in crew hiring, and representing Jet Aviation professionally. Requirements: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical. Five years aviation experience with 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night, and 75 hours Simulated Instrument. Fluent Mandarin and English required. High school diploma required, college degree preferred. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions. Ability to work a variable schedule.
